This week saw a media first for We Are Apps as we featured in our inaugural radio broadcast. Andrew Webb, from BBC Radio 4′s Food Programme interviewed We Are Apps’ Managing Director Ian Malone for a special programme on the Future of the Cook Book.

The interview gave Ian the chance to talk a little about what apps would look like in the future. This of course depends on the kind of devices that will be available. Ian mentioned a very cool device he’d seen in a TED lecture, which, rather than having a touchscreen, projects images onto surfaces, including the hand when the user wants to tell the time. You can see the lecture about the Sixth Sense device¬† here.
